1. THE ACADEMIC OVERACHIEVERS:

They are popularly called “Iwe Ogba”, “Shana”, etc. These are the students that are committed to their academic pursuits. They are the ones who always attend lectures, take copious notes, and spend most of their time in the library. They do night readings almost every day and can’t be seen with any other thing aside from Their books. They often top the class and are highly respected by their lecturers. They are the 5.0 Geng.

2. THE KEEN LEARNERS:

These are students who are always eager to learn and explore new things. They attend all lectures, actively participate in class discussions, and always read and study. They don’t overdo the reading and get themselves worn out all in the name of reading like the Academic Overachievers.

3.. THE SOCIAL BUTTERFLIES:

These are the students who are always at the centre of attention. They are the life of the party and they attend parties, no party can be done behind them. You will always see them at Clubs, social events, and the like. They can have exams and still go to parties. They are highly sociable. They are the ones who know everyone and everything happening in the school.

4. THE NONCHALANT STUDENTS:

We call them the “School 2 Geng” These are the students who are not interested in academics, socializing or any extracurricular activities. They skip classes, and assignments and are often caught up in sleeping, playing games or lazing around the hostel. They never cared about their CGPA or what will become of them after school.

5. THE ACTIVISTS:

These are the students who are highly politically and socially conscious. They are the ALUTAs. They are always at the forefront of social justice movements, protests, and advocacy. They are vocal and never shy away from expressing their opinions. They fight for their rights and are not scared of showing their countenance towards something. They often contest political posts in the school and are mostly known by the students.

Some of them handle two and above streams of income, and are not shy of advertising their products or services to students around them.

These are the students who are not from Nigeria. They come from different countries, and they bring with them different cultures, traditions, and perspectives.
