Ladoke Akintola University Of Technology Popularly known as Lautech is no doubt one of the universities with the highest number of fraudsters (Yahoo boys). we can equally say LAUTECH is the headquarters of Yahoo boys amongst Nigeria Universities. The Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, LAUTECH has issued a ban on students driving cars on campus, along with prohibiting vehicles without registration numbers and tinted cars. The decision was made at a management meeting held on March 22, 2023. The registrar of the institution, Kayode Ogunleye, issued a memo detailing the ban, which also requires learner permits to be displayed on vehicles of beginner drivers. Unauthorized vehicles parked on the university premises will be removed immediately, failing which the university security will take necessary action. The ban also extends to staff members and students using tinted cars. The memo was copied to the acting vice-chancellor, bursar, university librarian, provosts, deans, directors, heads of departments/units, and acting head of the security unit.
