Federal University Students To Resume To The Cold Hands Of Exam – ASUU

Great Nigerian students, make e no be like say ASUU go spoil our Christmas with examinations and heartbreak. Let’s join hands and pray now o. It’s no longer news that the Court of Appeal has ordered the Academic Staff Union of University to resume within 7 days. Asides from that, Femi Falana had come out to raise the students’ hopes by confirming that the strike would be called off in a few days without any court order. So most students sit, arms folded, waiting for the strike nullification.

This news has brought joy to most Federal university students as the end of the strike seems achievable. Most are already tired of staying at home despite learning one online skill or the other. However, it was rumoured that ASUU had a meeting on Sunday, 10th October. It has been debunked as fake news, and we’re yet to hear Osodeke’s approval as he still stands headstrong.

IMSU students have already been ordered to resume on the 19th of October, 2022 to write their examinations. Examinations keh? We hope that this method shouldn’t be adopted as it would affect most students, but we’ve termed it ‘the worst possible outcome‘. Talking about schools like Unilag that some freshers haven’t even resumed, talk less of rounding off their registrations. Other Federal schools haven’t come close to half of the semester. Also, we need the lecturers to start from the beginning. I give kudos to those that still remember their course codes.
