Abolore Adegbola Akande, better known by his stage as 9ice, captivated Nigerians with singles like Gongo Aso, Photocopy, and Little Money, among others. On November 21, 2020, a video of him romancing another woman appeared online, and he immediately came under fire from his supporters and Nigerians in general. In what appeared to be a motel, the video showed 9ice fondling the unnamed woman. In their comments on social media, many Nigerians condemned him and called him an unfaithful spouse. Following that, 9ice uploaded a video pleading with Nigerians to help him beg his wife and save their budding marriage. He recognized the “shameful and terrible” nature of his behavior.
4. JANEMENA
Usiwo Orezinena Jane is a well-known brand influencer and singer in Nigeria who is also known by her family and friends as Janemena. She is renowned for appearing in videos dancing, particularly twerking, and wearing little or no clothing at all. After Tonto Dikeh claimed that her ex-boyfriend Joseph Egbri, sometimes known as Prince Kpokpogri, had naked images and sex films of Jane Mena on his smartphone, there was controversy surrounding Jane Mena in 2021. The dancer was furious and demanded that Dikeh, who had recently broken up with Kpokpogri, give proof right away. A few weeks later, a video with a man who resembled Jamemena, who is married, and who has been severely beaten, was made public.
