It looks like OAU is taking this semester seriously o. The post UTME was held about two weeks ago and OAU already decided to award some people rice and some, “beans”.🥲 The way things are moving, it is definite that all departmental cutoffs will be out before the week runs out. So, stay tuned. 😉

Tinubu appoints new media aides
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed five new persons to the Presidential Advisory Media Team and one of them is Fela Durotoye. People are already lamenting on how the president keeps appointing people, considering the staggering economy.
Sanwoolu orders the demolition of two popular markets and illegal buildings
Jankara and Bombata markets have been marked for demolition due to flooding problems. Governor Sanwoolu ordered adequate eviction notices to be passed to all shops that are built on drains. He said illegal structures in the markets had blocked the drainage and caused flood and environmental pollution.
Also, illegal squatters in some areas of the island were given a seven-day ultimatum to evacuate the canals they built on.

The judge found the Assistant Superintendent of Police, Drambi Vandi guilty of the murder of Bolanle Raheem and he “will be hanged by the neck’ till he is dead. 📌

Egypt achieves target to curb Hepatitis C infections 👏
WHO disclosed that Egypt already set the country up for reduced and total elimination of Hepatitis C infections before 2030. They are the first country to achieve this feat. Apparently, they have all the modern tools.
